June 2023 - NEWSThe school will be required to take in additional students as from 2024. This will mean additional classrooms, dormitories and educational resources such as text books, computers, etc. We have a number of grant applications being considered, the latest about to be submitted is to the Clive Richards Foundation.
There are plans for a three storey building to house the extra students we will be required to take along with additional dormitories, etc,. Work has already commenced on the ground floor with the foundations just being laid (See below). This will require a special extra effort to raise the additional funds to complete this building so if you or anyone you know can donate or support our fundraising please let us know. Catherine is looking to increase the agricultural profile so that more food can be produced in our own fields as well as the rearing of hens, rabbits and a few cows. N.B. To this end we have recently received a very generous donation from the Newton Abbot Rotary Club which has also been match funded to help complete our Dairy Cow Housing Project. Many thanks. January 2023 - CATHERINE'S VISIT![]() Catherine and her husband Daron visited the UK to share her journey about the founding of Imprezza Academy and later becoming a Member of Parliament in Kenya.
She celebrated 20 Years of Imprezza Academy during a visit to Torquay Girls Grammar School which was most appropriate as it was the sharing of Catherine's story back in 2003 when a former pupil at TGGS came back from a visit to the slums of Nairobi and the then Head Sue Roberts was asked if the school could help. And from there the rest as they say is history. The following photos show some of the people she met
